Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using StrideFuel, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract. Give accurate information, keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us if you think your account has been misused. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Not medical advice
StrideFuel provides general fitness and nutrition information. It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor or dietitian. Calorie, nutrition, distance and calorie-burn figures are estimates.
Talk to a professional before starting a diet or exercise program, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating. Stop exercising and get help if you feel unwell. Exercise carries risk, and you use the app at your own risk.
4. Using the app
Do not misuse the app. This includes breaking the law, uploading content you have no right to share or that is harmful or unlawful, trying to break into our systems or other accounts, scraping or reverse engineering the app, or using it to harm others.
5. Your content
You own the photos, meals and other content you add. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it only to run the app for you, including sending meal photos to our AI provider for analysis.
6. Our rights
The app, brand, design and software belong to Perch Labs and its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app. You may not copy or resell it.
7. Third-party services
The app works with services such as Health Connect, Google, Apple and others. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for them.
8. Changes and ending
We may update the app or these Terms. If a change matters, we will tell you, and continuing to use the app means you accept it. You can stop using StrideFuel and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these Terms.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise it will be error-free or always available, or that its estimates are accurate. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or for loss of data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have by law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and disputes go to the courts of Nairobi, Kenya, unless your local law gives you the right to go elsewhere.
